I published my first two books in the early years of high school. I was raised on books so writing became one of my principle hobbies.
The novels, which it is clear were written by a 14 year old, could use some work, and though I am not particularly proud of the quality of their content, I am proud that I did it. I found out early on that writing and publishing was a very real possibility with the right amount of gumption. Since then, I have written all sorts of miscellaneous pieces from journalism to language learning advice and travel writing.
These days, I have cast aside the endless pursuit of a “brand” or making my writing marketable. I write what I want to for the pure joy that it brings me.
On the blog on this site, you’ll find all sorts of things. Mostly commentary on current events, short stories, and if I am feeling nostalgic, a travel article. Behind the curtain, I am working on several short stories and trying my best to hone the craft and enjoy the process.
